The API returns HTTP 429 with a clear error code. Your mailboxes keep receiving email — only API access is throttled until the quota resets or you top up.
Unused pay-as-you-go balance can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Subscription periods already started are not refundable.
The Free plan is a permanent trial — 300 requests per day is enough to evaluate the full API. No credit card required.
